Marcel Lapierre Morgon

Marcel Lapierre was one of the founding figures of the natural wine movement in Beaujolais, farming organically and biodynamically with no added sulfites at bottling. The estate is now run by his son Mathieu, continuing the same low intervention philosophy that first put Morgon on the map for natural wine lovers.

This Gamay based red is vibrant, juicy and lightly chillable, with fresh red berry fruit, a touch of earthiness and silky, easy drinking tannins. A brilliant introduction to natural Beaujolais, pairs well with charcuterie, roast chicken or on its own.
