Perched high in the Southern Rhône, Domaine Gramenon is a fiercely independent estate famous for championing exceptional natural wine and biodynamic Grenache. Their 'La Sagesse' 2023 is a deeply impressive Côtes du Rhône and a benchmark for pure Grenache. Sourced from 50 to 70-year-old vines grown on the estate's limestone and sandy slopes, this partially de-stemmed red is fermented with native yeasts and aged in oak barrels and demi-muids. It delivers a powerful and concentrated profile of damson, fresh black cherry, and red berry fruit, balanced by herbal nuances, elegant spice, and a silky, intense structure. It is a stunning, natural Rhône wine that drinks beautifully now but possesses the remarkable depth and acidity to age gracefully for another decade.
