Domaine Luneau-Papin is a family run, certified organic and biodynamic estate in Le Landreau, in the heart of Muscadet Sèvre et Maine, established in the early 18th century and now run by the 9th generation, Pierre-Marie and Marie Luneau. Farming around 40 hectares of Melon de Bourgogne, the family is widely regarded as one of the finest producers in the appellation, known for bottling individual plots separately to show the diversity of the region's terroir.

Terre de Pierre comes from La Butte de la Roche, one of the highest and most exposed sites in Muscadet, planted in 1974 on rare peridotite and serpentinite soils. Hand harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts, the wine is aged sur lie in underground concrete tanks lined with glass tiles, with no racking, for an extended period before bottling. Expect a pale gold Muscadet with white flowers, pear and citrus on the nose, and a taut, saline palate of crushed stone and chalky minerality on a long, savoury finish. An excellent match for oysters, shellfish or a simple seafood platter.
