Colonel E.H. Taylor Bottled in Bond 2025 BTAC Release
Colonel E.H. Taylor Bottled in Bond 2025 Buffalo Trace Antique Collection Release is a landmark bourbon, the first new expression added to the Antique Collection since Thomas H. Handy joined the lineup in 2006. Aged for 15 years and 4 months and bottled at the Bottled-in-Bond standard of 100 proof (50% ABV), it pays tribute to E.H. Taylor’s role in shaping the Bottled-in-Bond Act while offering a mature, oak‑driven take on Buffalo Trace’s Mash Bill #1.
In the glass, it shows clear amber colour with inviting aromas of warm vanilla, seasoned oak, charred undertones and a touch of maple sweetness. The palate brings a balanced mix of sweetness and baking spice layered over gentle wood notes, leading into a lingering finish of oak and vanilla that eases into soft caramel with a hint of cherry. This rare, highly allocated 2025 bottling was listed at Blenheim Vintners in very limited quantities and will particularly appeal to collectors of Bottled-in-Bond bourbon and followers of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection.
