Clos du Gravillas L`Inattendu Blanc

Clos du Gravillas is a small family estate in Saint Jean de Minervois in the Languedoc, run by John and Nicole Bojanowski since the late 1990s. They farm organically on rocky white limestone soils, specialising in old, local Languedoc grape varieties that many other producers have long since given up on.

L'Inattendu, meaning the unexpected, is a blend of old vine Grenache Gris, Grenache Blanc and Macabeu, fermented and aged on lees in large barrels for extra depth. Expect a rich, mineral white with green apple, orchard fruit and real texture, closer in weight and character to a light red than a typical white. A genuinely distinctive, food friendly bottle.
