Champagne Vauversin Original Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut

Champagne Vauversin is a tiny, family-run grower estate in the Grand Cru village of Oger, farming just 3 hectares of Chardonnay on the chalk slopes of the Côte des Blancs and working organically to produce only 18,000 bottles a year under Laurent Vauversin, the fourth generation to bottle under the family name.

This Original Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut is their signature cuvée, a pure Chardonnay Champagne with very fine mousse and a taut, saline frame, showing ripe citrus, green apple and stone fruit over notes of brioche, butter and marzipan, finishing long, chalky and precise, superb as an aperitif or with seafood and light dishes.
