Arrocal Maximo Ribera del Duero

Bodegas Arrocal is a family estate in Gumiel de Mercado, in the high, windswept heart of Ribera del Duero, where Tempranillo (Tinto Fino) is grown on lime rich clay at around 850 metres above sea level.

Arrocal Máximo 2015 comes from a single, tiny 4.5 hectare parcel of 80 plus year old vines called El Portillo, yielding concentrated Tinto Fino that is fermented with native yeasts and aged over two years in new French oak to give a powerful, deeply layered Ribera with dark berry fruit, spice and serious structure for long ageing.
