1701 Franciacorta is a small, organic and biodynamic estate in Cazzago San Martino, Lombardy, and the first fully certified biodynamic producer in the Franciacorta region, farming Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to make traditional-method sparkling wines that reflect their sandy, silty soils and natural viticulture.

Their Franciacorta Brut Nature is a zero-dosage blend of 85 percent Chardonnay and 15 percent Pinot Noir, aged around 30 months on lees, with a creamy yet taut palate, marked acidity, mineral notes and flavours of fresh citrus, chamomile and red apple, giving a dry, precise and food-friendly sparkling wine that shines as an aperitif or alongside seafood and lighter dishes.
