Marcel also left them responsibility for the cadole, a traditional stone vigneron's shelter overlooking the vines. These shelters are common across the Mâconnais, but this one is unusual, built above an underground river, with a pit dug inside that once supplied the vines with water during periods of drought. Farmed organically, the brothers named this Mâcon after Marcel, in tribute to his ingenuity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eMade from 100% Chardonnay, this Mâcon has a mineral, expressive nose of citrus fruit and white flowers. On the palate it is full bodied and fleshy, with a decadent creaminess balanced by fresh acidity.
