Description
Gulfi, a family-run organic winery in Sicily, produces this Cerasuolo di Vittoria, the island’s only DOCG wine. A blend of 70% Nero d’Avola and 30% Frappato, it is crafted from limestone-clay soils in Chiaramonte Gulfi. Fermented separately with short skin maceration and aged for seven months on lees in stainless steel, it offers vibrant aromas of red cherries, violets, and peach. The palate is fresh and elegant, with juicy acidity and a harmonious finish. Perfect with tuna, white meats, or light pasta dishes, this wine reflects Gulfi’s dedication to preserving Sicily’s indigenous varieties and unique terroir.
