Produced in Nombre de Dios, Durango, this artisanal mezcal is crafted from Agave Durangensis, known locally as Cenizo. Maestro Mezcalero Uriel Simental employs traditional methods, using a stone-lined pit oven and wooden and copper stills. The flavour profile is fruity and vibrant, with notes of tropical fruit, citrus, and tamarind, complemented by hints of smokiness and pine. The palate offers a textured mouthfeel with sweet dark fruit flavours and minerality, finishing fresh and fruity. This mezcal showcases the unique terroir of Durango, Mexico.
