Description
Clos du Moulin aux Moines, a historic estate in Auxey-Duresses, Burgundy, has been crafting wines since its founding by Cluny monks in 962. Now biodynamically farmed, the estate produces wines that reflect its unique terroir of red clay and limestone soils. The Auxey-Duresses Monopole Rouge is a refined Pinot Noir with aromas of wild red fruits, floral notes, and subtle spices. On the palate, it offers vibrant acidity, fine tannins, and a lingering mineral finish. Aged for 16-18 months in oak barrels, this wine beautifully balances elegance and structure, making it a standout expression of Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune.
