Description
Clos Berenguer, a family-run winery in Priorat, is perched above an old manganese mine, whose tunnels now store barrels for ageing. With just seven hectares of old vines planted on slate and limestone soils, the estate produces wines that embody Priorat’s rugged terroir. Clos de Tafall is a blend of Garnacha, Carignan, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 12 months in French oak. It offers intense aromas of ripe fruit, balsamic notes, and herbs, with a full-bodied palate showcasing dark fruit flavours, velvety tannins, and refreshing minerality. This wine reflects Priorat’s unique character and pairs beautifully with hearty dishes.
