Description

Crafted in Cadaujac’s gravel-clay soils, this white Bordeaux blend (80% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Sémillon) hails from 35-year-old vines managed sustainably by Sophie Lurton and Laurent Cogombles. Hand-harvested grapes undergo 24-hour chilling before barrel fermentation (30% new oak) and eight months ageing on fine lees with monthly bâtonnage. The wine reveals a pale gold hue with aromas of citrus, acacia, and toasted almonds, layered with hints of asparagus. On the palate, creamy textures balance vibrant acidity, offering baked apricot, peach, and candied orange zest, finishing with subtle oak spice. Certified organic, it embodies Pessac-Léognan’s signature richness and minerality, ideal with grilled seafood or roasted poultry.
